My current research focuses on the application of a bottom up development perspective in Base of the Pyramid ventures. My expertise therefore lies in providing answers to questions about how much, where, when, and in what form, the target group can take responsibility in the innovation process. Analized, planned and implemented right, these strategies have a positive effect on the efficiency as well as overall success of a product or service for people with low incomes. Combined with the development know how I gained, I am able to make BoP projects work more towards those goals.

Previous Experience

• As a Senior Consultant for BSD Consulting (www.bsd-net.com) I was responsible for all mandates and projects in the area of Sustainability Communication
• As an Ethics Analyst for INVERA Investment Ethics Research & Advisory I gained a broad insight into the Sustainability Management of listed companies worldwide
• As a student, I worked mainly in Public Relations and Marketing companies

• PhD candidate in economics at the University of Zurich, Chair of Foundations of Business Administration and Theories of the Firm
• MA in Economics from the University of Zurich (including studies at the Ecole de Management ESCEM Tours, France)
