Allianz Micro-Insurance - Learning to insure the poor

The study takes stock of Allianz’ micro-insurance activities and the insights the first five years of experimentation have provided. Based on the learning stories of five micro-insurance projects, the study also provides an update on the current knowledge on the field. Expert interviews provide a glimpse at the future. The study aims to take journalists, managers, partners and customers on board on Allianz' own learning journey in these unchartered waters. >

Publication 'Entwicklungsgeschäfte'

The first German primer on inclusive business ('Entwicklungsgeschäfte') was published in November 2009. The German Ministry of Development Cooperation BMZ, the German Agency for Technical Cooperation GTZ and the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry DIHK supported the publication. It offers a comprehensive, practical and engaging entry point for all companies, entrepreneurs and development experts who want to learn more about how to fight poverty through business. >
