Biofuels, renewable energy and carbon credits are topics that I have intensively dealt with over the last years – combining background analysis with field work in Europe, Asia and Africa. In the context of this work, my objective was to identify how rules and regulations in the energy sector and other industries can improve the financial viability of projects, particularly of those in developing countries.
Joy at Work
Finding new approaches to some of today’s most challenging questions such as:
- How can we meet the world’s growing demand for energy?
- How can we reduce carbon emissions and deal with global warming?
- How can we avoid competition between fuel and food?
Previous Experience
- From 2004 to 2007 I worked as a consultant in the Energy Core Group of the Boston Consulting Group, focusing on conventional power generation, renewable energy, carbon credits and the gas sector
- Within a small, specialized consultancy I worked on Carbon Credit issues including budgeting systems and CDM
- As a volunteer, I worked for several development aid projects in middle America

- PhD candidate Ecological Economics
- Triple diploma programme (MSc in Economics, Diplome de Grande Ecole and Diplom Kauffrau) at the ESCP-EAP in Paris, Oxford and Berlin
- Diploma in Economics at the Centre Universitaire de Luxembourg
