Some call it "strategic CSR", some call it "social business", for some it is just business as usual. No matter how you call it: How can a business be profitable and “good” at the same time? What does it take to adapt  sustainable strategies around the globe? This is in the center of my interest.

Previous Experience

  • During my six years as project manager at “Virteo GmbH”, an international business development consultancy, I supported small and medium enterprises in developing strategies to enter new markets and made sure that the plans were put to work.
  • My work at “Peters Bildungsgruppe”, a German vocational training institution, shares a similar focus: to develop educational programs for developing and emerging countries.
  • In addition to that, I have a strong background in marketing and (new media) communication. At the start of my professional career I worked as marketing manager for the internet start-up “trade2b.com AG”. After that I was chief editor for the foreign trade web portal VirteoNet and I am still working frequently as a journalist for magazines like for example the "Afrikapost".
