Development of a Biofuels Strategy
Project context
First generation biofuels are made from food-crops, including wheat, corn, and sugar. A more viable solution to increase political and industrial support for, and rapidity of, biofuels are the second-generation biofuels from non-food crops, including cellulosic biofuels
Project objective
This project looked at first generation biofuel markets in BRICS countries. Interviews were conducted with experts from several countries. These insights were used to develop a strategy on how the company can advance its product portfolio and technology development to adjust to changing trends in the market.
Project output
The analysis and strategy were shared and discussed with stakeholders from different business units and regions, transiting from strategy building to implementation.
